Touring Maui Island

Royal Kaanapali Course, Par 71, 6700 Yards

The Royal Kaanapali Course, a Robert Trent Jones Senior design, opened in 1962 and has tested the skills of golf professionals and amateurs alike. In the fall of 2006, this challenging course received a nip/tuck renovation by renowned golf course architect, Robin Nelson. Nelson helped to design all new bunkering and resurfaced the greens with TifEagle, a Bermuda hybrid. Combining wide fairways and undulating greens, the Royal Kaanapali Course is both distinctive and demanding.

Kaanapali Kai Course, Par 70, 6388 Yards

The Kaanapali Kai, originally a Par 3 executive course (Arthur Jack Snyder design) was also recently renovated. A Par 70, this course combines narrow fairways and a need for a deft touch around the greens. With four sets of tees, this course is perfect for all levels of play. You will never be at a loss for something fun to do at Kaanapali. Of course, beach activities will be at the top of the list. Head out on a snorkel sail, sunset dinner sail, or whale-watching excursion. Go snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, windsurfing, parasailing, or body boarding.
